- Position Title: Finance Manager
- Duty Station: Islamabad
- Fieldwork: Occasionally required
- Directly Reports to: Board of Governors
- Salary & Benefits: Corresponding to market benchmarking and employment history
- Functional Links: Accounts Officer, Associate Financial Controller, HR, Admin, and external collaborators (banks, insurance, etc.)
- Purpose of the Position:
The Finance Manager will lead Amgomed’s finance function at the country level, ensuring accurate financial control, timely reporting, compliance with Pakistani laws and company policies, and strategic financial support for business growth. This is an on-site, full-time role based in Islamabad, requiring expertise in budgeting, forecasting, taxation, audit coordination, and team leadership. The role will play a key part in enabling profitable, compliant, and sustainable operations.
- Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
- Lead month-end close, reconciliations, and ensure accounting records are audit-ready.
- Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business planning.
- Provide commercial analysis on pricing, cost management, profitability, and investment decisions.
- Oversee cash flow, bank relationships, payments, and working capital management.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, statutory filings, and corporate policies.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, maintaining transparent documentation.
- Implement and monitor internal financial controls and approval systems.
- Supervise payroll accuracy, statutory deductions, and benefits coordination with HR.
- Train and guide the finance team to improve efficiency and financial discipline.
- Collaborate with auditors, banks, tax advisors, and other external stakeholders.
- Lead process improvements, ERP system efficiency, and financial automation initiatives.
- Experience and Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, CPA or MBA in Finance; minimum 6–8 years’ post-qualification experience with at least 3 years in a managerial FP&A/finance manager role.
- Preferable experience in the pharmaceutical, FMCG, manufacturing or fast-moving commercial environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with statutory compliance in Pakistan (tax, payroll, statutory reporting) and corporate governance.
- Proven track record managing audits, treasury and multi-entity accounting.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle NetSuite or similar).
